Prayers

I would be among the crowd following Wesir when he appears in his final form,
Praising the god and singing in adoration of the beauty of the Neshmet Barqe,
Fetching the rudder for the boat and honouring the Great God.

None of the gods knows His true form,
His image is not unfolded in the papyrus rolls,
nothing certain is testified about Him.

O my heart which I had from my mother,
O my heart which I had upon earth,
Do not rise up against me as a witness in the presence of the Lord of Things;
Do not speak against me concerning what I have done,
Do not bring up anything against me in the presence of the Great God, Lord of the West.

O my heart which I had from my mother,
Do not rise up against me as a witness in the presence of the Lord of Things;
Do not bring up anything against me in the presence of the Great God, Lord of the West.

I am come to Thee, Nebt-Het,
I am come to the Evening Barge,
I am come to Thee, True-Is-She-Over-The-Red,
I am come to Thee, She-Who-Remembers-The-kas.
Remember me!

O Unnefer,
May Your beauty shine as a light
on all the akhu in the Duat;
giving their kau life again.

-Raheriwesir

I remember the names of my ancestors.
I speak the names of those I love.
I speak their names and they live again.
May I be so well-loved and remembered.
In truth, may the gods hear my name.

O my Mother Nut, stretch Yourself over me,
that I may be placed among the imperishable stars which are in You,
and that I may not die.

Homage to You, Wesir, Lord of Eternity,
King of the Gods, whose Names are manifold,
whose Forms are holy, You being of hidden form in the temples,
whose Ka is holy.

Powerful in Abdju,
Let me come and go among the righteous
who are in the following of your Majesty:
and let me feast upon the offerings of your offering table.

Prayer of St. Francis
“Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love.
Where there is injury, pardon.
Where there is doubt, faith.
Where there is despair, hope.
Where there is darkness, light.
Where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master,
grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled, as to console;
to be understood, as to understand;
to be loved, as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive.
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life.
Amen.
